Customizing the Home Screen in the Control4 App

The Control4 app's Home Screen is a place to keep all of your favorite or most commonly-used controls for quick, easy access. Here’s how to add favorites to the Home Screen:

Adding lighting controls

  1. Tap the lighting experience chip to display all lighting devices in the project.
  2. Tap and hold the desired device.
  3. Then, tap Favorite to Home Screen.
  4. Now the lighting device is displayed right on the Home Screen. Simply repeat this process to add more.

Adding widgets

  1. On the Home Screen, tap the more options menu.
  2. Then, select Add Widgets. You will see a list of the widgets available to you.
  3. For this example, let's add a live camera feed. From here, select Surveillance.
  4. Choose which feed to display on the Home Screen.
  5. Select Live Feed or Thumbnail.
  6. Tap, Add Widget.

Now the live feed is shown on the Home Screen.
